Fired – Dreaming of being fired represents a feeling of insecurity and insufficiency. It may be directly related to your job, and anxieties you have been experiencing lately in that arena. It may also be related to other pursuits in your life, or your relationships. Your boss, as an authority figure, often represents your own harshest self-judgments, and may give voice to self-criticisms that have been tormenting you such as “You are lazy,” or “You are worthless.” Bear in mind that these are your own criticisms of yourself and represent your fears, not realities.
